I am a Singaporean-Malaysian filmmaker specializing in post-production, proficient in both creative video editing and organizational assistant editing. After graduating summa cum laude from Emerson College with a BA in Visual Arts and Media and Honors, I am currently enrolled in Columbia’s Film and Media Studies graduate program.

The challenges and successes of my global immigration experiences has taught me to adopt a holistic and loving artistic vision; embracing different cultural environments has also inspired me to pursue creative projects responding to the distinct experience of unbelonging minorities silently endure—and the community and love that can be found after—often through the unique blend of magical realism and dramatic genres I have always found fascinating.

Currently based in New York City, I have professional post-production experiences in non-fiction, educational media production and freelance editing. I am now excited to grow as an artist and academic through sharpening my critique and appreciation of AAPI community’s importance within the creative arts.
